Erin Costigliola • Sixth Grade
My name is Erin Costigliola and I am thrilled to be the new sixth grade homeroom teacher at St. Paul's School. I am a San Francisco native who grew up in the Richmond district. I am also a proud product of Catholic school education, graduating from Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep.
Over a decade ago, I moved to the east coast where I attended Providence College, a Catholic college, founded in the Dominican tradition. I completed my Bachelor of Arts there, in Liberal Studies. I loved it so much, I continued on at Providence College to complete my Master of Arts degree in Theology. While living in Providence, I worked at Johnson & Wales University, while teaching children's liturgy at my parish.
After several happy years at the University, I took a leap of faith and moved to Naples, Italy. While living in Italy, I taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grades at the Anglo-Italian School. My experience teaching middle school students only solidified my desire to work in a Catholic school with this age group.
After being away from the Bay Area for too long, I decided to move back to my beloved city and pursue the vocation I knew I was called to. I could not be more excited to be at St. Paul's School. I look forward to a great school year!
