Sr. kathryn Camacho • principal
Sr. Kathryn Camacho is in her first school year as the principal of St. Paul’s School after serving 25 years in Catholic education, primarily within the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
Prior to joining the St. Paul’s community in May, Sr. Kathryn spent the past three years serving her religious congregation, the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. She was national formation director, creating and implementing educational programs for women who are preparing for vow profession within the congregation.
Sr. Kathryn was assistant principal at Mission Dolores Elementary School and served as principal of St. Paul the Shipwreck in San Francisco’s Bayview/Hunter’s point neighborhood.
After receiving a Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis on Catholic School Administration, Sr. Kathryn fulfilled a term as founding principal of Cristo Rey High School in Sacramento.
A product of Catholic education herself, Sr. Kathryn realizes the benefits of a quality Catholic education. The values, educational excellence and the deep sense of community which are the hallmarks of a quality Catholic education, have been evident in the students, parents and family members Sr. Kathryn has met at St. Paul's.
Sr. Kathryn is thrilled about being a part of the St. Paul’s community, which has a rich tradition of providing quality Catholic education to students in San Francisco.
