Our Principal Welcomes You

Welcome to the St. Paul's School website. St. Paul's has a long-standing tradition in Noe Valley. Founded in 1916, we continue to provide an excellent education to the children of San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. We are a welcoming, inclusive Catholic community that serves families of diverse ethnic, social and economic backgrounds, Catholic and non-Catholic alike.

For generations, the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary established a rich, vibrant community of faith.  While the sisters are no longer here, their legacy lives on as we provide the continuity of tradition and faith formation. Religious instruction and faith experiences are a part of our daily curriculum.

We are proud to offer an excellent academic program that strives to meet the needs of each student.  A strong foundation in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies paves the way for academic success.  We supplement these basics with technology, Spanish, music, physical education and art throughout the week to ensure that our students are well-rounded individuals.

St. Paul's has an experienced and dedicated faculty and staff. There are nine full-time classroom teachers, as well as specialized Science, Technology, Music, Spanish, and Physical Education teachers. Our teachers are enthusiastic educators who share their love of learning with their students. Kindergarten, First and Second grades have a full-time teacher's aide.

At St. Paul's you learn quickly that you belong to a community larger than our school. We have close ties to our parish, our alums, and our neighborhood. Please come and visit us so you can experience the community that is St. Paul's.  You are welcome to explore our website, and contact me if you have any questions.
